The Rose City Premium Pine shafts are also known as Oregon Mountain Pine shafts and come from the Cascade Mountains and the Blue Mountains in Eastern Oregon. The logs are purchased from loggers in these areas and are shipped to Rose City for processing the logs into arrow shafts. The logs are very large and are from trees approximately 300 years old. These new shafts seem to become very popular in Europe, Australia and the US. Therefore Rose City plans to keep a good inventory of these shafts.
Pine spine weights only go up to about 60lbs and are available in two diameters: 11/32-32'' 5/16-32.
