Celestron Nexstar 6SE Schmidt-Cassegrain 152 mm catadioptric telescope with GO-TO Nexstar SE computerized single-arm altazimuth mount.

The Celestron NexStar SE series of computerized telescopes is the happy synthesis between the tradition of excellent Celestron optics with and much more. Nexstar SE single-arm mounts feature a universal dovetail mounting platform and can therefore be used with other lenses.

Nexstar SE telescopes are portable instruments with very advanced features. They allow precision alignment to be performed in just a few minutes with SkyAlign technology which consists of pointing at three bright stars “randomly” and leaving the Nexstar computer to do the rest. The SkyAlign feature does not require the user to know the sky.

It includes a 220V mains power supply and a battery compartment (for 8 AA batteries not included), NexStar control panel which can be updated via the web, with SkyAlign easy alignment function and database of over 40,000 celestial objects.

The Nexstar 6SE is a telescope with very high quality Schmidt-Cassegrain optics, suitable for predominantly visual use of both terrestrial and astronomical subjects, but also allows photographic shooting with reflex, mirrorless or compact cameras and video shooting with webcam.
